Mini jet air shows
What began as a childhood dream became one of the most unique airshow acts in the country. After a career as a fighter pilot, airline pilot, and aerobatic pilot, Tom “Lark” Larkin took to the skies in the remarkable SubSonex Jet. Weighing just 500 pounds and reaching speeds of up to 300 mph, this miniature jet delivers a high-energy performance packed with speed, precision, and excitement that audiences won’t soon forget.
BRIAN CORRELL
With more than 9,000 flight hours in over 100 aircraft types, Brian Correll brings world-class experience to the airshow stage. An accomplished aerobatic pilot, Air Force Reserve instructor pilot, and Textron Aviation Production Test Pilot, Brian delivers a thrilling demonstration inspired by Kansas’ rich aviation history and fueled by a lifelong passion for flight.
U.S. Air Force Wings of Blue
The U.S. Air Force Academy’s Wings of Blue Parachute Team represents the next generation of Air Force leaders through precision parachuting demonstrations that showcase exceptional skill, discipline, and teamwork. Their thrilling aerial performance combines high-speed freefall and pinpoint landings, delivering an exciting display of hard-earned mastery that has captivated audiences across the country.
Scott francis airshows
Wichita native Scott Francis returns home to showcase the incredible performance of his high-powered MXS aerobatic aircraft. A captain for a major U.S. airline with more than 9,000 flight hours, Scott has thrilled airshow audiences across the country since 2006. His fast-paced routine features precision aerobatics, breathtaking tumbles, and gravity-defying maneuvers that demonstrate exceptional skill and control.
KC-135 & KC-46 Flyover (Operations Dependent)
For decades, the KC-135 Stratotanker has been the backbone of the U.S. Air Force’s aerial refueling fleet, extending the range and endurance of American and allied aircraft across the globe. The KC-46A Pegasus joins this storied aircraft is the Air Force’s newest generation of tanker aircraft, designed to deliver enhanced refueling, cargo, passenger, and aeromedical evacuation capabilities for future global mobility. Together, these remarkable aircraft represent generations of innovation and support for the nation’s airpower.

b-29 superfortress
Step back in time with DOC, one of only two airworthy B-29 Superfortresses remaining in the world. Built during World War II, the B-29 played a pivotal role in aviation history and represented the cutting edge of military technology in its era. Today, DOC serves as a flying museum, honoring the legacy of the Greatest Generation while inspiring future generations through education, preservation, and flight.
Beechcraft T-6 Texan II
Every U.S. Air Force pilot begins somewhere, and for many, that journey starts in the Beechcraft T-6 Texan II. This two-seat turboprop trainer introduces student pilots to the fundamentals of military aviation, including aerobatics, formation flying, instrument navigation, and low-level flight. The aircraft also serves as the primary trainer for many U.S. Navy pilots, making it a cornerstone of military flight training.
Northrop T-38 Talon
The Northrop T-38 Talon made history as the world’s first supersonic trainer and continues to prepare pilots for some of the Air Force’s most advanced fighter and bomber aircraft. Capable of flying faster than the speed of sound, the Talon provides advanced training in high-performance flight, formation flying, and tactical operations. For more than six decades, thousands of military aviators—and even NASA astronauts—have trained in the T-38 before advancing to operational aircraft.

KC-46A Pegasus
The KC-46A Pegasus represents the future of aerial refueling. Built on the proven Boeing 767 platform, the Pegasus combines advanced refueling technology with expanded capabilities for cargo transport, passenger movement, and aeromedical evacuation. Designed to replace the aging KC-135 fleet over time, the KC-46 strengthens the Air Force’s ability to support missions around the world for decades to come.
KC-135 Stratotanker
Since entering service in 1957, the KC-135 Stratotanker has been the backbone of the U.S. Air Force’s aerial refueling mission. For more than six decades, the aircraft has extended the range and endurance of American and allied aircraft, making it possible to project airpower anywhere in the world. Beyond refueling, the KC-135 also supports cargo transport and aeromedical evacuation missions, making it one of the Air Force’s most versatile aircraft.
