For Scott Francis, aviation has been a lifelong passion. Raised in Wichita, Kansas, Scott grew up around airplanes, often flying alongside his father, an experimental test pilot who helped inspire a career dedicated to aviation. After earning his private pilot certificate while still in high school, Scott continued advancing his skills, obtaining commercial, instrument, multi-engine, and Airline Transport Pilot certifications. Today, he serves as a Captain for a major U.S. airline and has accumulated more than 9,000 flight hours in over 40 different aircraft types, including type ratings in the Dash 8, King Air 350, and Boeing 737.

Scott’s commitment to precision flying naturally led him into the world of aerobatics. Beginning in 2003, he steadily climbed through every level of competition—from Sportsman and Intermediate to Advanced before ultimately reaching Unlimited, the highest category in competitive aerobatic flying. His dedication to mastering increasingly demanding routines has earned him a reputation as one of the nation’s premier aerobatic performers.
